Frequently asked questions

When should I apply for renewal?

Within the 60 days before your permit expires, and no later than the expiry date. The counter on the home page shows how long you have.

Can I travel abroad before my card arrives?

An application made on time documents your stay until it is decided. Ask us or YİMER 157 before you travel.

I moved. What should I do?

Report your new address to the civil registry within 20 working days. Not doing so can cause problems at renewal.

What if my application is refused?

Deadlines for objection and court action are short. This stage requires a lawyer, and we put you in touch with one.
